Overview
This is a required 2-hour introductory module for the Green Building for Infrastructure series of Continuing Education programs for architects, engineers, interior designers and landscape architects. Seven additional programs totaling 11 additional hours illustrate Best Practices and provide a template for design and implementation of Green Building concepts applicable to Cities and Municipalities.
Learning Objectives
The Participant will be able to:
1. Describe Green Building principles and practices as they apply to Infrastructure;
2. Describe the concept of High-Performance Infrastructure;
3. List the Guiding Principles of High Performance Infrastructure;
4. List the Benefits of High Performance Infrastructure;
5. Review Trends and Precedents of projects completed in several Cities;
6. Examine barriers and opportunities in implementation.
